Who is the course suitable for?
This course is suitable for anyone with an interest in massage or holistic therapy – whether an existing practitioner or someone who wishes to start their career as a holistic therapist.  Auricular Massage can be incorporated into any massage routine and is a very popular stand-alone treatment.
 
What does the course include?
This full day course shows how Auricular Massage stimulates the acupressure points of the body to expel toxins, and to assist in the drainage of mucus and lymph from the facial cavities.
                                      
This course gives an excellent additional skill for Ear candling Therapists who would like to perfect, improve and extend their post-treatment massage.
 
The massage includes information about reflexology and the body meridian theory.  You will also learn about the facial acupressure points which are used to drain mucus and lymph, thus reducing puffiness and discomfort for your client. The course covers detailed massage of the neck, scalp, ears and face which helps to soothe the facial contours and promote feelings of well being. At the end of the day you will be able to promote a new and popular treatment for your clients. This course also covers the client consultation process, aftercare and product selection, plus information on insurance, data protection and the relevant anatomy.
 
How long are the treatments and how much can I charge?
An Eastern Facial Massage treatment usually lasts 50 minutes and would be a one hour treatment. The routine can be shortened to offer clients a half hour treatment.  It should be priced at your usual hourly massage rate which may vary between £30 and £75 per hour, depending on the area in which you practise.
 
Do I need to purchase anything in advance and what equipment do I need to practice?

What does the course include?
Japanese Hand Massage is a massage of the arms and hands and is a unique blend of shiatsu and reflexology. It has its roots in ancient Oriental medicine. The philosophy underlying the massage is that vital energy (Qi in Chinese, Ki in Japanese) flows throughout the body in a series of channels called meridians. If the energy stops flowing then this can product symptoms of illness or discomfort. This course will teach you the techniques to remove the energy blockages include gentle holding and pressing with palms, thumbs and fingers on the meridians. The course covers the techniques of applying pressure in the correct points on the hands and arms to restore the flow of energy, leaving the client refreshed and renewed.

Who is the course suitable for?
This 2 day course is a full body advanced Holistic Massage Practitioners' Diploma Course, and is designed for those who wish to become professional massage therapists. It builds on knowledge provided in our Introductory course and is a must for therapists wishing to offer full body treatments.
 
What does the course include?
This course covers the theory of Holistic (or Swedish) Massage which involves the manipulation of the body’s soft tissue (the skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments) using the hands in a gentle, flowing massage technique that uses varying degrees of pressure and stretching movements.  The course explains the techniques of several of the most important massage movements and how to incorporate them into a professional full-body routine. 
 
The two day course will also comprise a recap of relevant A&P, plus the other theory required to become a professional massage therapist, including consultation, contra-indications, aftercare and the history and benefits of massage.

Introduction to Holistic Massage Certificate (non-practitioner*) - £130

Who is the course suitable for?
This course is suitable for anyone with an interest in holistic therapy and is a Holistic Massage taster. It is designed for anyone from complete novices to professional therapists. It is perfect for those who want to learn about the therapy and how to perform the basic movements and sequence without having to commit to a fully accredited qualification.
 
This course is the ideal springboard should you wish to go on to study advanced Holistic full body massage and undertake an Anatomy & Physiology course in order to practice commercially.
 
What does the course include?
Holistic (also known as Swedish) Massage involves the manipulation of the body’s soft tissue (i.e. the skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments) using the hands in a gentle, flowing massage technique that uses varying degrees of pressure and stretching movements. It is most commonly used for relaxation, improving well-being and lymphatic drainage. 
 
This course will teach you a straight-forward, full body massage routine that is easy to remember, but very effective for the recipient.  The routine teaches several of the traditional massage strokes so that you are learning proper techniques should you wish to continue your massage skills.

Crystal Massage with Wands, Spheres & Palm Stones Dipoma Course - £150

Who is the course suitable for?
This massage course is perfect for therapists who wish to expand their holistic massage skills and add this unusual and luxurious treatment to their list of therapies. This massage can be priced more than a traditional massage, making it a very lucrative treatment to offer. Students must have a qualification in Anatomy & Physiology prior to enrolling - previous massage experience is helpful but not essential, so practitioner qualified in other holistic disciplines are welcome. A qualification or knowledge of crystals would also be useful.
 
Isn’t this the same as a crystal healing treatment?
Sometimes crystal healing practitioners will call their treatments a “Crystal Massage”, when they are laying crystals and working crystal grids on a fully-clothed client.  This Crystal Massage is completely different, it is a combination of a full body massage AND a crystal healing, and is totally hands-on massage treatment.

What does the course include?
This unusual one day intensive course covers lots of interesting theory about crystals. This will give you a brief grounding in the way that crystal therapy works on the energy systems of the whole body.  The course also looks at the body meridian systems and how the massage assists with total health and well being.
 
By incorporating various types, size and shape of crystals into a massage, it can vastly increases the therapeutic results of the massage and enhance the clients’ physical, mental, spiritual and emotional awareness. Massaging with crystals enable the therapist to give an intensity of pressure to certain muscle areas to encourage the elimination of knots and congestion. Working deeply with the ends of the wand also stimulates the acupressure points, or meridians, and also the subtle energy vortexes called chakras.

This exciting one day intensive course covers lots of interesting theory about Yin and Yang, Chakras, the Five Elements and Kneipp Theory. This will give you a brief grounding in the way that stone therapy works on the energy systems of the whole body.  The course also looks at the body meridian systems and how the massage assists with total health and well being. This course also covers the client consultation process, aftercare and product selection, plus information on Insurance, Data Protection and the relevant anatomy. The massage routine is in several parts and teaches you how to work the stones with confidence to give your clients a wonderful holistic experience.
 
How long are the treatments and how much can I charge?
A Hot Stones Massage treatment usually lasts 50 minutes and would be a one hour treatment.  However, many therapists offer Hot Stones as a 90 minute treatment to really give the client an extra-special treat.  Tasters can also be offered by using the hot stones to give a back or shoulder massage and so add value to other massage treatments.  It should be priced at your usual hourly massage rate which may vary between £30 and £75 per hour, depending on the area in which you practice.
 
Do I need to purchase anything in advance and what equipment do I need to practice?
The massage routine has also been especially developed by the Principal who developed this routine using the minimum number of stones for the maximum effect. This means that your investment in purchasing stones is less and the amount of cleansing and weight to carry around is less! The effect of the massage and the client experience is still top quality. All the items you use on the course will be provided for you. Details of the products and equipment you need to practice will be covered in detail on the course. We advise you not to invest in anything before you come along.
 
What are the benefits to my clients?
Stone therapy, as with all massage, has physiological effects on the mind, body and spirit as the state of deep relaxation encourages rejuvenation of the whole being. The warmth also encourages very deep relaxation, and has a calming effect on the client's body and mind.

Who is the course suitable for?
This massage course is perfect for therapists who wish to expand their holistic massage skills and add this unusual healing treatment to their list of therapies. Isn’t this the same as a Reiki healing treatment?
Sometimes Reiki practitioners will call their treatments a “Reiki Massage”, when they are laying hands on a fully-clothed client, or in the client’s aura, to channel healing energy.  This Reiki Massage is completely different, it is a combination of a full body massage AND a Reiki healing, and is totally hands-on massage treatment.
 
What does the course include?
This unusual, one day intensive course will teach students how to perform a wonderful holistic massage and how to incorporate various Reiki healing hand positions. These healing hand positions cover the entire body and enable Reiki to flow via the practitioner into the client. By joining the two disciplines of massage and Reiki the client experiences an amazingly powerful treatment, which is both relaxing and healing to the body, mind and spirit.
